My name is George Dallam. I’ve been a professor in exercise science at Colorado State University – Pueblo since 1998, teaching exercise physiology, biomechanics, and research and statistics. In so doing I’ve also published a large number of scientific papers and books with relevance to the process of training in triathlon. Prior to that I started the national teams program for USA Triathlon as their first National Teams Coach in 1996. I continued coaching individual elite athletes until about 2010. These included world champions, Pan American Games Medalists, Olympic qualifiers and National Elite Champions. I swam and played water polo though 1980 at Texas A&M University and have competed in triathlon continuously since, beginning in Tucson at the University of Arizona. I’m a dinosaur racing with some success against greyhounds 😉
